Alba school is situated in an advantageous location close to Verona, where there are many branches of international companies, such as import/export companies or commercial enterprises of European products. Business Italian is therefore very requested.
Our business course is designed for highly motivated business personnel who need to improve their level of Italian for working purpose.
Of course we offer also excellent business courses for all the other languages taught by Alba school.
What does the programme offer?
Business Italian I/II
- Telephone manner: how to be precise and informative, using necessary idioms and correct phrasing
- Behaviour at business meetings: formal and informal language use, to ask for information and provide them, to make arrangements, reservations, to organise conferences and meetings
- Introduction and descriptionof the own company, products, function, responsibility and tasks
- Business correspondence: How to write enquiries, price lists, catalogues, offers, orders, confirmation of payments, request for payment.
- Bank transactions: how to open an account, different kinds of payment, requesting a credit card
- Traditional and cultural background of successful companies in Italy.
Participants need to have basic knowledge in word and writing!
How are the lessons organised?
- Grammar: verbs (all tenses, including the subjunctive), prepositions, pronouns>
- Conversation: preparing and making a speech
- Vocabulary training: understanding, learning and using new words, drawing up your own dictionary with the help of a computer programme
- Cultural trip through Italy: getting to know some of the regions of Italy, their typical products, habits, traditions and ways of life
Dates and prices
Business Italian I+II are taught in various courses: as Fullimmersion or Crash Course, in private lessons or evening classes. You decide on the type of course that suits your needs best. You will find the dates and costs under the corresponding headings of each type of course.
Full immersion course - a group with a maximum class size limit of 6 people.
Crash course - Up to 3 people on the same language level applying together. You decide the dates, and we offer you a tailor made programme.
Evening course - fixed dates, 2 x 2 hours a week, 30 lessons in total, maximum class size limit of 6 people. Level I and II.
Individual classes - Ideal for those who want to be completely independent.
